Team Description:
The Hotels Contracting team manages relationships with hotel partners, ensuring competitive rates, accurate content, and reliable inventory across WegoBeds and Book on Wego platforms. The team focuses on strengthening supplier partnerships, improving visibility, and maximizing performance across destinations through effective negotiations and data-driven strategies.
The Role:
The Senior Contracting Specialist maintains Wego’s direct hotels portfolio in assigned destinations, ensuring visibility, competitiveness, and strong supplier partnerships. This includes negotiating rates, managing inventory, and ensuring contractual accuracy.
What you will be working on:
Negotiate competitive rates, allocations, and commissionable agreements
Monitor competitor pricing and availability, and recommend yielding actions
Liaise with the Contracting Manager on hotel production volumes and promotions
Ensure hotel content accuracy, including facilities, photos, and contact details
Resolve booking issues, book-outs, and escalations with suppliers
Provide insights on market performance, promotional opportunities, and competitor activity
Attend trade fairs and supplier meetings as required
Core Responsibilities:
Manage and grow hotel partnerships within assigned destinations
Negotiate and maintain competitive rate agreements and allocations
Ensure data accuracy and content consistency across the hotel portfolio
Support issue resolution, yielding actions, and performance optimization
Represent Wego at supplier meetings and industry events
Skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Studies, Hospitality, Business, or related field
Very good proficiency in both English and Arabic
3–5 years of contracting or yielding experience in OTA, TA, wholesale, or bedbank environments
Strong understanding of static and dynamic contracting processes
Familiarity with channel managers and hotel distribution systems
