Team Description:
The Performance Marketing team drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all channels by leveraging data-driven strategies and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize impact and growth.
The Role:
The SEM Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing Wego’s search engine marketing strategy. This role plays a key part in driving web and mobile web traffic, as well as customer acquisition.
What you will be working on:
Conduct extensive keyword research using tools such as Google Ads, Keyword Planner, and SEMRush to identify potential high-value search terms
Design, develop, and manage PPC campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
Monitor daily campaign budgets to ensure optimal use of funds and ROI
Track KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement, including CTR, Conversion Rate, Quality Score, and CPC
Create engaging and effective ad copy in collaboration with content and design teams
Work with UX/UI teams to optimize landing pages for SEM campaigns
Generate regular reports showcasing campaign performance and insights
Analyze competitor advertising links and strategies to refine Wego’s SEM approach
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEM trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
Collaborate with marketing team members to align SEM campaigns with broader marketing strategies
Core Responsibilities:
Execute SEM campaigns across key platforms to drive growth in traffic and conversions
Manage budgets, monitor performance metrics, and report results
Optimize ad content, keywords, and landing pages to improve campaign effectiveness
Collaborate across teams to ensure SEM initiatives align with overall marketing goals
Skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
2–4 years of experience in search engine marketing, PPC campaigns, or digital marketing
Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and SEM tools
Strong analytical mindset and attention to performance metrics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition
Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
