Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing supplier technical integrations and API performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and coordination across multiple teams to ensure our supplier APIs operate at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have a problem-solving mindset, a passion for technology, and the ability to develop internal tools to streamline workflows and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Supplier technical onboarding and API integrations, ensuring smooth implementation and performance.
Continuously analyze supplier API performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the suppliers through regular communication and performance review meetings.
Proactively identify and resolve anomalies or inconsistencies in supplier API operations through data-driven analysis.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product and commercial teams to ensure seamless API integration and troubleshooting.
Design, develop and maintain internal tools to monitor and enhance supplier API performance.
Create and implement automated workflows to streamline the API monitoring and management process.
Work alongside internal stakeholders to refine API integration strategies and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, alternatively, Analytics or Data is also relevant.
1-3 years of experience in technical project management, API integrations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), data exchange formats (JSON, XML) and system integrations.
Experience with monitoring tools and technologies to track API performance and detect anomalies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to supplier integrations.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software like Tableau, Looker, Looker Studio or any other BI tool.
Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python, Java) or other automation tools is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the travel tech industry or managing travel supplier integrations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and API management tools
Hands-on experience in building automation scripts or internal tools for monitoring and optimization.
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Looker, DataDog etc for API performance insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving business need.
Proficiency in SQL, Python or other analytical programming languages.
Knowledge of hotel booking platforms and industry trends.
