The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer 1 (Backend) to join our Flight Supply team. You will work on backend systems, enhancing our integration with airlines, GDS, and OTAs, ensuring smooth flight content integration and system reliability. You will collaborate with developers and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for flight content management.
• Integrate airlines, GDS, and OTA APIs into the booking system.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Optimize performance for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for practical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, writing tests to ensure reliability.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Java backend engineer.
• Experience with integrating APIs, particularly for flight systems.
• Familiarity with database management, version control, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in the travel domain or working with flight systems.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks (Spring Boot & Dropwizard) and CI/CD processes.
