Hotels Connectivity and Optimization Supervisor
About the role:
Manage DC hotels optimization and dynamic connectivity technical process for Global chains, local chains, and standalone hotels via CRS/Switches and channel managers directly or through aggregators. This position will be working collaboratively externally and internally in an agile manner to maximize opportunities and increase growth, managing Dynamic Inventory on Point of Sale.
The role requires a candidate with a strong operational background in Hotels Mapping, and Dynamic Connectivity area, as well as an interest in the pricing and commercial area in the business that enables seamless integration of new products with channel managers and switch partners.
The Successful candidate has a responsibility for delivering the company’s commercial objectives derived from business transacted through the connectivity programme.
Some tasks will look like:
● Manage technical issues between our inhouse technology and third-party tools
● Manage Dynamic Inventory and Rateplans.
● Monitoring and resolving any connectivity issues or errors
● Oversee and manage the integration of hotel properties
● Manage hotels mapping and fix mapping and response errors.
● Manage data exchange and real-time updates for room availability, rates, and inventory.
● Analysing booking data and DC performance versus the third-party suppliers
● Maintain Dynamic channels managers relationships.
● Collaborate with the Contracting team to implement strategies to optimize room rates, inventory distribution, and promotion strategies
● Check DI daily booking reports and monitor production of each Dynamic Inventory chain daily/weekly/monthly production for connected hotels in remit using relevant production reports.
● On-going quality control of each property and ensuring properties are built accurately
● Make sure properties are available for sale according to pre-determined deadlines
● Ensure mapped hotels & chains are live and bookable on POS conducting quality auditing of properties set up, ensure pricing accuracy, and the rate and promotion competitiveness
Education and training:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Excellent Communication in English is a must, additional language is optional. • Travel Trade Experience, Tourism industry and/or hospitality supported by proven contracting experience gained within OTA/Wholesale/BedBank/TO environment
Work related experience:
• 5 – 7 Years Contracting and yielding experience TA/OTA/DMC/WH
• Hands-on Technical Dynamic contracts management (CRS/Switches & Channel manager). • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus).
• Understanding of electronic distribution channels as well as technical background and knowledge of API (XML/JSON).
