The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our mobile team. In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying product deliverables and advancing our automation process. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing test cases, as well as maintaining and enhancing our automation frameworks. Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is essential for this role, with familiarity in conversational Arabic for the MENA region as an added advantage.

What you will be working on:

You will be responsible for reviewing technical documents, creating and executing test cases, performing end-to-end testing, and developing automation scripts. You’ll also be involved in debugging, tracking, and verifying bug fixes while updating QA documentation to improve the product's quality and reliability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide feedback.

• Create detailed, well-structured test cases for web and mobile applications.

• Perform end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality releases of new features.

• Identify, log, and track bugs, verifying fixes and updating QA documentation.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation testing frameworks and scripts.

Skills and experience:

Minimum Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in testing Android and iOS applications.

• Hands-on experience with Test Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Java, Cucumber).

• Experience testing backend databases (SQL) and REST APIs (e.g., SoapUI, Postman).

• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing for native iOS and Android apps.

• Fluency in Arabic, with familiarity in conversational Arabic for the MENA region preferred.

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated build tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills.
