The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer (Web) for the BoW Hotels team, you will leverage your frontend expertise to develop and maintain user-focused web applications. You’ll contribute to creating seamless, user-friendly experiences and collaborate across disciplines to deliver a polished and performant product. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about frontend technologies, software quality, and user experience.

What you will be working on:

You will be responsible for developing Single Page Applications, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining software quality. In this role, you'll contribute to code reviews, collaborate across teams, and implement automated testing to maintain a high-quality codebase.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Single Page Applications.

• Ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews.

• Work closely with product teams to understand and optimize user experience.

• Consume and integrate HTTP-based APIs.

• Collaborate with team members across disciplines, fostering a culture of open communication.

Skills and experience:

Minimum Experience:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Single Page Applications.

• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Mock Service Worker, Storybook).

• Understanding of web design principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively and share insights with team members.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in the Travel Tech industry.

• Experience with automated testing of browser-based applications.

• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR).
